THE MUST HAVE MOTO
My friends and clients are always asking me what to wear to kids birthday parties. I like to dress pretty casual unless it's my kids party, then I might try to dress up a little more. For a recent birthday party, I paired a light pink chunky knit sweater with gray jeans and gray suede over the knee boots. I think the pink sweater and floral earring give the look a feminine touch. I had to top this look off with a motorcycle jacket because, "I'm not like a regular mom, I'm a cool mom!" lol (love that Amy Poehler line in Mean Girls)
This season the shearling motorcycle jacket is everywhere! This one from Zara is by far my best buy of the season. It's reasonably priced at $149 and so freaking cool! It's an oversized fit so you can easily wear a chunky knit sweater underneath. It's also heavy enough to keep you warm in some pretty cold temperatures.
Different brands are showing this style in all kinds of amazing colors, from red to metallic, you can't really go wrong. I always go with neutrals for outwear because that's just the kind of girl I am!
